One Community
One Community has around 80 members of staff and 160 volunteers working for our projects. Our work is governed by a board of volunteer trustees.
Our Role
As a local infrastructure organisation our role is to:
- work closely with local groups and partners for the good of the area and its communities.
- support and empower individuals and communities to achieve their aims and objectives.
- be a strong voice of, and advocate for, the voluntary and community sectors, especially in the articulation of need.
- provide high quality services and pursue excellence in all we do.
Our Vision
One Community's vision is of communities that are confident, accessible and diverse, working closely together to promote sustainability and inclusiveness so as to achieve a high quality of life for all.
Our Mission Statement
One Community works locally to promote voluntary activity, provide support, and work in partnership with others by providing community services and advocating for change to enhance the quality of life for all in our community, especially those experiencing disadvantage.
