The Care and Respite Service aims to provide carers with the opportunity of a few hours respite from their caring responsibilities each week. Trained staff might chat, read, play a board game or listen to music with the cared for person, depending on their capabilities and interests.
The Care and Respite Service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which regulates the service to ensure that we meet high standards of care delivery.
One Community can receive referrals through two routes, either via Adult Services Take a Break scheme which is funded by Hampshire County Council .To contact Adult Services call 0845 60 35 638.

People can be referred privately for example by a friend or family member and invoiced by One Community for hours received.
